MICHAL HORVATH

Michal Horvath came to Australia from Slovakia at age eleven. He became a solicitor in 1998. In 2003, he went to the bar. He has run hundreds of trials and prepared for many more. 

His practice varies from pro bono, through criminal and estate matters, to commercial disputes. Michal enjoys writing articles and presenting seminars; he was on the editorial committee of a legal magazine for over a decade; he has an interest in assisting the junior bar and sharing what has been passed on to him by others.

Since 2008, he has been the Slovakian Honorary Consul for Queensland. In his spare time, he builds and races cars. 

Michal is the head of chambers.
